Catherine Bakody Kinesthetic Yoga (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays 6pm, Saturdays 10am) “Yoga is music and dance for the body and for the soul. It is a powerful means of reconnecting to everything important in your life. It creates a space in which your natural, creative energies are recharged and reawakened.“ Classes are based on classical yoga made body friendly, safe and appropriate for the western student. Classes reflect the philosophy that yogic asanas (or postures) are here to serve the student on their journey, not the other way around, and that gentle interaction with the postures, rather than force is the most direct pathway leading to the rewards of yoga. |

Maeve Larkin Yoga and Movement (Mondays 6pm) Maeve's classes are influenced by 30 years of movement exploration through dance, Dance Movement Therapy, yoga and somatic techniques such as Alexander Technique and Body Mind Centering. “My classes focus on mindful stretches which allow a deeper understanding of how the body and mind work together, on slowing down to fully experience the fluid and wave–like movements of the spine, and on using the support of the breath to find ease and comfort in the postures. |
